Zhanqi (Victoria) Zhang

Zhanqi (Victoria) Zhang is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. She is a Ph.D. student in Gal Mishne’s lab at the University of California San Diego. Zhang holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California, San Diego. Her research focuses on applying deep learning models as theories of neural computations to answer long-standing questions in science. Zhang is the recipient of the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute Ph.D. Fellowship and the Cosyne Travel Grant.
