Yourdanos (Jordan) Eyassu
Boston UniversityJordan Eyassu is a rising sophomore at Boston University studying molecular biology with a specialization in genetics. Jordan’s fascination with the complexities of women’s health has shaped her aspirations to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology as a physician. During a previous internship in the NICU at Colorado Children’s Hospital, she began to foster her dedication to women’s/neonatal health. However, one of her prerequisite courses at Boston University, Introduction to Psychology, has challenged her to broaden her horizons beyond women’s health. The idea of working and conducting research piqued her interest and challenged the notion that she was only going to be a doctor. She consistently seeks opportunities to broaden her knowledge and is beyond excited to learn more about the lab’s atmosphere and the intricacies of the brain.
