Flatiron Research Fellow, Astronomical Data, CCA, Flatiron InstituteRyan Rubenzahl’s website

Ryan Rubenzahl is a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) since September 2024. He uses extreme precision radial velocity observations of the Sun to investigate how we can mitigate the effects of stellar activity for upcoming searches for Earth-like exoplanets like the Terra Hunting Experiment.

Ryan earned his Ph.D. in astrophysics at the California Institute of Technology in 2024 where he was a recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. He completed his undergraduate studies in physics and astronomy at the University of Rochester in 2018.
