Rudy Morel, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, CCM, Flatiron Institute

Rudy Morel joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in October, 2023. His research focuses on machine learning, specifically the development of transformer-based models with enhanced generalization properties. He works with scientific data from physics, including fluid dynamics. Rudy earned his PhD in applied mathematics from École Normale Supérieure in Paris. He also holds an M.Sc. in probabilities from Sorbonne University, as well as a B.S. and an M.Sc. in mathematics from École Normale Supérieure de Rennes.
