Omar Vera

Omar Vera joined the Science, Society & Culture team in the fall of 2021. As program specialist, Vera is responsible for assisting with Science, Society & Culture’s program development, including assisting with the review of programs for its portfolio of science outreach grants, and leading the division’s grant administration process. He assists with content development for the Science Sandbox website and helps develop and execute the social media strategy for Science, Society & Culture. Omar graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in political science in 2021 and is an alum of Prep for Prep 9.
