Neal Weiner is a Professor of Physics at the Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics at New York University. His work focuses on developing, understanding, and testing models of dark matter.

Professor Weiner has been active in pursuing studies of physics beyond the standard model, particularly in the development of dark sector models. He has studied the theory of interacting dark sectors and their possible experimental signatures. He received his BA in Physics and Math from Carleton College and his PhD in Physics from the University of California Berkeley. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington before joining the faculty of NYU.
