Kevin Mastro, Ph.D.

Kevin Mastro is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. He is a postdoctoral fellow in Bernardo Sabatini’s lab at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital. Mastro holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and psychology from the University of Connecticut and a doctorate in neurobiology from the University of Pittsburgh. Their research focuses on adaptive processes governing cognitive resilience in aged mice and marmosets. Mastro is the recipient of the Tommy Fuss Center for Neuropsychiatric Disease Research Fellowship.
