Kelsa Trom

Kelsa Trom is a community engagement and programs expert with a background that spans art and culture, media and design consulting. As the Simons Foundation’s community network manager, she supports Science Sandbox awardees by cultivating community and fostering new opportunities for collaboration. Previously, Kelsa created grants and fellowship programs for independent writers at Substack, developed a professional development program for interdisciplinary artists at NEW INC, the New Museum’s cultural incubator, and designed educational programs and experiences at Fjord. She holds a B.A. in rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley.
