Jason Alipio, Ph.D.

Jason Alipio is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. He is a postdoctoral fellow in Amar Sahay’s lab at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Alipio holds a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology from California State University, San Bernardino and a doctor of philosophy in neuroscience from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. His research focuses on investigating hippocampal inhibitory circuits that subserve memory processing in health and disease.
