Hrant Gharibyan, Ph.D.

Hrant Gharibyan is a first-year postdoc at California Institute of Technology. Originally from Armenia, he completed his bachelor’s degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology with majors in physics and mathematics and minor in theater arts. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University under the supervision of Lenny Susskind, working on the intersection of quantum information science and quantum gravity. His recent projects include quantum multiparty packing lemma, study of spectral properties of random quantum circuits and properties of holographic complexity.
