Chandni Ashra

Chandni Ashra joined the Science, Society and Culture team toward the end of 2023 as its administrative coordinator. She assists in planning the annual Awardee Summit, coordinating various national initiative–related events, grant tracking, budget tracking and vendor management. Previously she worked at Girl Scouts of the USA for more than six years, first on the operational and business consulting team, and then transitioning to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Racial Justice team. While on the DEIRJ team, she helped ratify the Girl Scouts’ national constitution to include antiracism language, by facilitating educational seminars for the delegate body on key DEI concepts. Ashra holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and business administration from Stony Brook University.
