During her time at the Center for Computational Astrophysics, Bhawna Motwani primarily focused on studying the resolved properties of star-forming regions using cosmological simulations. She worked with Flatiron Institute scientist Shy Genel.
Following her time at the Flatiron Institute, Motwani has been doing research as a graduate student at Columbia University. She is currently working on understanding the role of different galaxies in the enrichment of galaxy clusters over their cosmic formation history. In addition to her research she is also a science writer for the Astrobites website.
