Ashley Xi Chen joined the Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ) as a Flatiron research fellow in 2017. Xi’s research interests lie in condensed matter theory, with a focus on developing algorithms for strongly correlated systems. Xi completed her doctorate in physics and scientific computing at the University of Michigan, where she worked on solving the two-dimensional Hubbard model using dynamical mean field theory. She earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
Currently, Xi is a computational scientist at CEMWorks.
