Aizhan Akhmetzhanova, M.Sc.

Predoctoral Fellow, Cosmology, CCA, Flatiron Institute

Aizhan Akhmetzhanova joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) as a Predoctoral Fellow in Spring 2025. Aizhan’s research interests lie at the intersection of cosmology and machine learning. She is broadly interested in developing and leveraging machine learning tools and methods to accelerate robust cosmological data analyses. During her research stay at the CCA, she will focus on exploring sequential simulation-based inference methods with CAMELS simulations. She received her B.A. in Physics from Princeton University and M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from Perimeter Institute.
