Stanford University
Adam Nance Headshot

Adam Nance is a rising junior at Stanford University, studying human biology with a concentration in neuroscience and human health. He is conducting his research under the mentorship of Amin Shakhawat in the Raymond Lab in the Department of Neurobiology at Stanford. As an SCGB Undergraduate Research Fellow, Adam will be studying the algorithm(s) that cerebellar circuits use to induce the plasticity necessary for motor learning. Adam has a passion for collaborating with other researchers in the lab, as well as challenging himself to continuously improve at experimental data collection and analysis. He finds that he would not be the researcher he is today without the support of his five younger brothers and older sister.
