Abigail Brown, Ph.D.

Abigail Brown is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. She is a postdoctoral fellow in Coleen Murphy’s lab at Princeton University. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida and a Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry from Brown University. Her research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying learned pathogen avoidance.
