Joan Bruna joined the Flatiron Institute Center for Computational Mathematics in December 2020 as a Visiting Scholar.

Andres Buja joined CCM as a Senior Research Scientist in January 2020. Buja is The Liem Sioe Liong/First Pacific Company Professor Emeritus at The Wharton School in the University of Pennsylvania.

Diana Cai joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in August 2023.

Bob Carpenter joined the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Mathematics in March 2020. He previously was a research scientist at Columbia University, Alias-I (LingPipe), SpeechWorks, and Lucent Bell Labs. Carpenter was also previously a professor of computational linguistics at Carnegie Mellon University.
