William H. Press is a computer scientist and computational biologist with broad interests in the physical and biological sciences. He is the Leslie Surginer Professor of Computer Sciences and Integrative Biology at the University of Texas at Austin.

Hans-Walter Rix is the Director of the Department Galaxies and Cosmology at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy.

Eric Schmidt served as Google’s chief executive officer from 2001 to 2011 and as its chairman from 2011 to 2017. He currently advises the leaders of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, on technology, business and policy issues.

Krysta Svore lead the Microsoft Quantum – Redmond (QuArC) group at Microsoft Research in Redmond, WA. She is passionate about quantum computation and determining how to solve some of the world’s most challenging problems by using a quantum computer.

Erio Tosatti is a theoretical condensed matter physicist, working on the theory and simulation of nanofriction and other research areas, including strongly correlated superconductors, nanocontacts and ultrahigh pressure solids.
