Flatiron Institute Staff

Simone Aiola joined the CCA at the end of 2018 as the Data & Pipeline Project Leader for the Simons Observatory (SO). He is also an active member of the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) collaboration.

Nour Al Hassanieh joined Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Flatiron Research Fellow.

Jasmin Imran Alsous joined the foundation in 2021 as a research scientist in the Developmental Dynamics Group.

Joakim Andén joined the foundation in 2017 as part of the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Biology. As a member of the Numerical Algorithms group, he develops new methods for analysis of biological data, with particular focus on cryo-electron microscopy.

LaToya Anderson is an associate research analyst for the Center for Computational Quantum Physics at the Flatiron Institute.

Andrea Antoni joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in 2024.

Viviana Acquaviva is a professor in the Physics Department at the New York City College of Technology (City Tech) and at the CUNY Graduate Center. Acquaviva is also a long-term visiting scholar at the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Astrophysics.
