Simons-Supported Neuroscientists Win NIH Awards
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has recognized four outstanding neuroscientists supported by the Simons Foundation.
Coleen Murphy, director of the Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain, received the NIH Director’s Pioneer Award.
Simons Collaboration on the Global Brain fellow James Heys won an NIH New Innovator Award.
The NIH also recognized two investigators with the Simons-Emory International Consortium on Motor Control. Rui Costa won the NIH Director’s Pioneer Award, and Chethan Pandarinath received an NIH New Innovator Award.
