Xulu Sun, Ph.D.

Xulu Sun is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. She is a postdoctoral associate in Loren Frank’s lab at the University of California, San Francisco. Sun holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Shandong University and a Ph.D. in biology from Stanford University. Her research focuses on the neural basis for memory and value-guided decision-making in hippocampal and cortical areas. Sun is the recipient of the Jane Coffin Childs Postdoctoral Fellowship.
