Ulises Pereira Obilinovic, Ph.D.

Ulises Pereira Obilinovic is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. He is a scientist in Karel Svoboda’s lab at the Allen Institute for Neural Dynamics. Pereira Obilinovic holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Universidad de Chile and a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Chicago. His research focuses on computational and theoretical neuroscience, recurrent neural network models and statistical physics. Pereira Obilinovic is a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship and Swartz Fellowship.
