Nana Dufie Akowuah

Nana Dufie Akowuah is a student at CUNY College of Staten Island in New York, majoring in biology. She is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and committed to the ideals of service and leadership. Her interest in the SCGB Undergraduate Research Fellowship program stems from her great interest in neuroscience and her aspiration to become a physician-scientist. This program will give her the opportunity to gain laboratory experience, develop problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and to receive personalized guidance.
