Gian Rodrigues

Gian Rodrigues is a pre-med student at the University of Washington. His main interest in academia is in studying human beings and their complex social conditions. Through his extensive work with people, Gian has developed a strong passion for promoting equity. Naturally, an interest in the social interactions between people would lead to an interest in the brain. As such, he finds neuroscience a particularly intriguing field. Learning about the biological foundation of real-world interactions is an area of particular interest to him. Altogether, the SCGB Undergraduate Research Fellowship program has provided the perfect platform for Gian to work with and develop new passions — professionally and otherwise.
