Erin Kunz

Erin Kunz is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Jaimie Henderson’s lab at Stanford University. Kunz holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. Her research focuses on developing high-performing speech neuroprosthesis, human speech neuroscience and machine learning algorithm development for neuroscientific data. Kunz is the recipient of a Ford Foundation Fellowship Honorable Mention and the Ketterer-Vorwald Neurosciences Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellowship.
