Christopher Miranda, Ph.D.
Stanford UniversityChristopher Miranda is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. He is a postdoctoral fellow in Mark Schnitzer’s lab at Stanford University. Miranda holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University and a doctorate in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University. His research focuses on imaging of mouse basal ganglia using next generation microscopy. Miranda is the recipient of the Dean’s Dissertation Award in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering and the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute Interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Scholar Award.
