Benjamin Schaar is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. He is a Ph.D. student in Manuel Zimmer’s lab at the University of Vienna. Schaar holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Vienna. His research focuses on mechanism and function of brain-body-environment interactions in C. elegans during chemotaxis.
