Zijun Zhang, Ph.D.

Zijun Frank Zhang is an Assistant Professor, Division of Artificial Intelligence in medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Prior to that, he was a Flatiron Research Fellow with the Center for Computational Biology, joining the Flatiron INstitute in 2019. His research focuses on leveraging big data analytics to elucidate the regulatory basis in human functional genomics. His long term goal is to predict and interpret the phenotypic and molecular trait variations by integrating multi-omics data and biological regulatory patterns in health and disease.
