CCQ Hosts Virtual Electronic Structure Conference: July 12–July 15
The 33rd Annual Workshop on Recent Developments in Electronic Structure Methods (ES21) will be hosted online by the Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ), Flatiron Institute, July 12–July 15, 2021.
For over 30 years, the Annual Workshop on Recent Developments in Electronic Structure Methods has brought together participants in electronic structure theory from universities, colleges, institutes and laboratories around the world. COVID made it infeasible to hold the conference in person. We hope the online version will provide an occasion for the community to gather after a very challenging year, hear about the latest developments and discuss the future of electronic structure methods.
The program consists of invited talks, including a special presentation on science funding and computational research by renowned astrophysicist David Spergel, incoming President of the Simons Foundation. In addition, there will be two poster sessions, as well as a small-group breakout discussion.
The workshop is free and open to all, but registration is required. Register and submit poster presentations at the workshop website:
