Simons Collaboration on Arithmetic Geometry, Number Theory, and Computation Holds 2021 Annual Meeting Online
The Simons Collaboration on Arithmetic Geometry, Number Theory, and Computation met remotely on January 19 to provide research highlights from the past year. Director Brendan Hassett provided a collaboration overview, while Jennifer Balakrishnan gave a talk on Rational Points on Modular Curves and Quadratic Chabauty and John Voight gave a talk on The L-functions and Modular Forms DataBase (LMFDB). The meeting was complimented by a Simons Foundation Lecture given by Bjorn Poonen on Tetrahedra: From Aristotle’s Mistake to Unsolved Problems.
