Sabbatical Visiting Researcher Program 2021-2022 – Center for Computational Astrophysics
The Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) at the Simons Foundation’s Flatiron Institute is accepting requests from faculty members on sabbatical who are interested in visiting the CCA during the academic year 2021-2022. Located in New York City, the CCA’s mission is to analyze big astronomical datasets and to understand complex, multi-scale physics in an astrophysical and cosmological context.
During their visit, generally as consultants/independent contractors, sabbatical visiting researchers will engage in projects independently and in collaboration with CCA staff. Sabbatical visiting researchers may join the CCA in this capacity for up to one academic year.
We are accepting requests for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. Requests must be submitted by January 4, 2021, with notification by March 8, 2021. If interested, please submit your research plan during your visit to the CCA, not exceeding two pages in length, and your CV to [email protected].
