Jing Chen, Ph.D.

Zapata Computing, Inc., Flatiron Institute

Jing Chen joined the Center for Computational Quantum Physics in 2017. He is interested in the design and application of high-performance numerical methods for strong correlated systems, such as quantum critical systems, topological systems and frustration systems. During his doctoral studies, Chen worked on tensor network methods for strong correlated systems, density matrix renormalization group of Hubbard model. Last year he began studying the relationship between tensor networks and neural networks.
