Assistant Professor, Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Peking UniversityFlatiron Research Fellow, CCA (2018-2021), Flatiron Institute Email Lile Wang
Lile Wang’s research focus at the CCA was on the formation and evolution of exoplanets, including protoplanetary disks, exoplanet atmospheres and their characterizations. He develops and uses GPU-based high-performance numerical simulation systems to construct consistent magnetohydrodynamic models with thermochemistry for bridging theories and observations.
Currently Lile is assistant professor at the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics at Peking University.
Lile is also interested in the application of advanced computational methods in multiple fields of astrophysics, including the interstellar and intergalactic media, the cosmic structure formation with galactic feedbacks and astrochemistry, among others.
